May 08 – Oct 09	Contract PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter, Subversion, VYRE Unify, XML development with Cobweb, a business information firm, on their flagship product, a major OO intranet/extranet application offering business advice to hundreds of organisations.
Sep 06 – May 08	Freelance PHP/MySQL Web development for various organisations including Funkigroup in Gateshead (websites for mobile phones – included Smarty development), Pjing in London (several business websites and an intranet for stock-price feeds), Digital Zenith in Middlesbrough (AJAX-based shopping cart) and SEO optimisation for Zest Lifestyle in Newcastle.
Jun 05 – Sep 06	PHP/MySQL Web development of online shops and e-commerce systems at PointOV, a new-media firm in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Feb 05 – May 05	Java/Bluetooth research for an archaeological firm in London.
Sep 03 – Jan 05	M.Sc. in Network Systems at the University of Sunderland. Gained a distinction. The course covered many network-related disciplines including Java and PHP/MySQL development, together with my thesis on tracking wireless mobile devices.
